"G" Stands for Granular

AquaGro 2000 G is a dry granular surfactant utilizing a #4 (fine) vermiculite as a carrier of its active ingredients.  It is the media surfactant of choice when mixing batches of media in a dry "batch" system.
It is mixed into the media being manufactured at rates up to 16 dry ounces per cubic yard, depending on the wettability of the mix.

While soilless mixes are all made up of some combination of peat, bark, and a variety of inorganic amendments, there can be a tremendous variation in these components. Their place of origin and how they have been harvested, composted, and handled can affect the wettability and performance of the mixes.

To realize the full benefit that peat and bark based mixes offer, the wettability or water repellency issues must be addressed. Water repellency not only causes mixes to become extremely dry and difficult to rewet but can also cause areas of super-saturation. In each case much of the applied water, nutrients and other solutes run out of the container, contributing to a poor growing environment and waste. The need to water multiple times to wet-out the pot thoroughly wastes time, labor, water and fertilizer.
