AquaGro 2000 G media surfactant helps you over-come water repellency and control the moisture in your mix. The hydrophobic (water repellent) part of AquaGro 2000 G attaches to the water repellent surface of the peat or bark while the hydrophilic (water receptive) part interacts with water so water repellent particles can be wetted. This mode of action ensures wettability of the mix allowing water to spread uniformly throughout the container.
